A community festival built around food.
The Waterford Festival of Food brings chefs, growers, producers and food lovers together in Dungarvan every April — a small office team, a huge crew of volunteers, and a whole town at the table.
One of Ireland's largest and longest-running community food festivals: dining experiences, tastings, talks, food trails, family fun and the famous Sunday Festival Market on Grattan Square.
What we do
Across the festival weekend we host dining events with visiting and local chefs, producer tastings and talks, food trails through the town's bars and restaurants, family programming and the Sunday Festival Market that fills Grattan Square.
Who makes it happen
The festival is brought to you by a small office team — CEO Eunice Power, festival manager Martha Macklin and office & sustainability manager Mary Foley — alongside a voluntary community board chaired by Anita Geoghegan, and a huge number of volunteers, growers, producers, chefs and café owners from across the region.
Our supporters
The festival is made possible by our sponsors and supporters, including long-time festival friends Flahavan's of Kilmacthomas. A heartfelt go raibh maith agaibh to all of them.
