The festival takes place across real venues in and around Dungarvan — restaurants, halls, gardens and the open-air market — so access varies from venue to venue. Here's how to find what you need and how to ask us for help.
Each venue listing carries its own access notes where we have them. If you have a question about a specific event or need something arranged in advance, email info@waterfordfestivaloffood.com or use the access support form — we'll check directly with the venue.
Getting around town
Dungarvan is a compact harbour town: the market square, the quay and most town-centre venues sit within a short, mostly level walk of one another. Some events take place in older buildings or working kitchens, and a few venues lie outside town — check the event listing and its venue page before you book.
The Sunday market
The festival market on Grattan Square is outdoors, at street level, and free to wander. It's also the busiest part of the weekend — earlier in the morning is calmer if crowds are difficult.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome in the outdoor festival areas. For indoor dining events we'll confirm arrangements with the individual venue — let us know when you book.
